Tamworth AC athletes took part in Match 4 of the West Midland Young Athletes Cross Country League at Abington Park Northampton on a cold, rainy day last weekend.

First off were the Under 17 Women with Charlotte Bush and Emily Findlater.  Charlote was first home for Tamworth in 9^th place with Emily finishing 30^th. With one more Match to go Charlotte is now in 12^th position in the individual Under 17 Women league table.

Next off were the Under 11 Boys. Jacob Williams finishing in 81^st place, Aiden Mason in 84^th, Joseph Gorst in 95^th and finally Oisin Au in 122^nd.

James Oakley running in the Under 17 Men race came 24^th and Tom Holloway was 44^th. With a row of consistent finishes James is now 23^rd in the individual tables.

The Under 11 Girls ran next with Freya Cole in 46^th place, Annie Boonham in 47^th then came Daisy Smith in 59^th, Connie Allen in 79^th and finally Angelica Rakmee in 93^rd.

In the Under 15 Boys race Max Kent ran a strong race finishing in 13^th place.  This puts him in 10^th position in the individual league table.

The Under 13 Girls were next with Abi Hamer finishing in a strong 16^th place followed by Emily Pearce in 35^th, Tegan Vickery in 53^rd and Ellie Gauntlett in 66^th.  Abi Hamer now stands at an excellent 11^th place in the individual standings

Ben Edwards in the Under 13 Boys race finished a very strong 9^th with James Stretton following up in 23^rd place. Harry Chesterton was 30^th, Oran Au 45^th, Kian Dickson 68^th and Caydon Fairburn came in 76^th. In the individual league standings Ben Edwards is now 11^th, James Stretton is 15^th and Harry Chesterton is 24^th. The excellent placings of the whole team mean also that the Under 13 Boys team is 4^th in the team standings.

In the Under 15 Girls race Eve Clawley finished in 7^th place which means that she is now in 7^th place in the individual competition. Katie Stretton finished in 49^th place.

Overall the Tamworth AC team stands at 9^th place in the league table with one more match to go at Aldersley Stadium, Wolverhampton on 12^th February.
