Tamworth AC athletes took part in the Staffordshire Cross Country Championships at Aldersley, Wolverhampton last weekend.

The Under 13 Girls were Abi Hamer who came a strong 11^th followed by Emily Pearce 19^th and Tegan Vickery in 20^th.  Ellie Gauntlett came 26^th.  The Under 13 Girls did well coming in 2^nd place in the team competition behind Wolverhampton and Bilston who were present in large numbers.

In the under 13 Boys event Ben Edwards was Tamworth AC only boy entrant.  Doing an excellent job he came 5th.

Hannah Brayer running in the Under 15 Girls event just missed out on the medals finishing in an excellent 4^th place.  Katie Stretton also in the Under 15 Girls came 20^th.

Charlotte Bush with a powerful run took the Bronze Medal in the Under 17 Women’s event. Her team mate Rebecca Brayer came in a good 12^th place.

Sarah Jemmett representing Tamworth AC in the Veteran Women’s event came 21^st

Finally David Brayer came 23^rd in the Veteran Men’s event.
