Tamworth AC’s Men’s Cross Country Team were in action at Burton Dassett Country Park on Saturday. The hilly course proved a challenge for all the atheletes.

Ben Evans was the first runner in for the Tamworth team taking 50th place with 39:30. Team mate Dale Langley followed with a 78th place in 40:55.David Brayer came next in 121st place with 43:43. Third in for the Tamworth team was club chairman Dave Williams who took 145th place in 45.52. Andy Wright was next in 153rd place in 47:05 and finally Adrian Edwards completed the line up in 169th place in 49:04.

After a season plagued with injuries and absences, the team unfortunately sit on the brink of relegation with one fixture remaining. Always the optimists, we’re already looking forward to a promotion campaign next season!
