Tamworth AC had another great event at the 2nd meeting of the Birmingham Sportshall League.
The U11b team comprised Tom Reid, James Wilkes, Toby Wootton, Oisin Au, William Newman and Jacob Williams
Tom was 2nd in the 1 lap race in 12.6secs. He was also 2nd in the long jump with a jump of 1.82m. He completed the hat trick of 2nd places in the 2 x 2 lap race with team mate James in a time of 51.1 secs.
In the 2×1 lap race Oisin and James came 2nd in 25.8secs
Toby Wootton came 3rd in the chest push with 5.50m , then the 4×1 relay team of Jacob, Tom, James and Toby finished 2nd in 51.7 secs
Oisin Au came 2nd in speed bounce with 45 bounces
The U11g team comprised Ruby Coldwell, Kirsten McLaren, Angelica Rakmee, Saoirse Au and Freya Cole In the 6 lap paarlauf of Angelica and Saoirse came 2nd in 81.6 secsThe 4×1 relay team of Freya, Saoirse, Kirsten and Ruby finished 3rd in 53.2 secs
The U13b team of Kai Buckley and Oran Au came 3rd in the 8 lap paarlauf with 107.7 secs and Kai took 2nd in the shotput with a putt of 5.78m
The U13g team comprised Sian Hubbard, Beth Winstone, Emily Pearce, Amy Cook, Abi Hamar, Maddison Rose Blencowe, Tegan Vickery and Ellie Gauntlett
Amy was 1st in her 4 lap race with 54.8secs and 3rd in the shot putt with a putt of 6.96m
Abi was 1st in 6 lap race with 87.5secs and 2nd in triple jump with 5.76m
Sian Hubbard came 2nd in vertical jump with 44cm
Several of the above youngsters had also taken part in the inter-county cross country champs earlier on in the day.
The U15g team comprised of Lucy Wheeler, Lauren Swindell, Katie Stretton , Sophie Perry, Charlotte Perry and Hannah Evans
Lucy Wheeler is still leading the under 15 all-rounder event at the end of the evening. Winning her 2 lap race in 22.4 secs, she was 1st in vertical jump with 62cms and 2nd in the shot putt. Lauren Swindell won the speed bounce with 89 bounces. Then Lucy and Lauren went on to win the 8 lap paarlauf in 99.9secs
Tamworth held onto some good placings against Solihull and Small Heath, Birchfield Harriers Sutton Coldfield and Halesowen AC.
