Due to illness a rather depleted Woman’s XC team made the long journey down the M5 to Blackridge, Gloucester. Ran over a 3 3/4 mile / 2 lap course the Tamworth ladies acquitted themselves very well in the heavy conditions. Kate Malloy lead to Tamworth ladies home with a very good run, racing strongly throughout to finish in very creditable 121^st place, Lisa Stretton racing in her 2^nd XC race of the season made a big improvement to finish in 184^th place. Fiona Meldrum continued her come back with another good performance, finishing in 223^rd place. Dawn Cross has an equally good run, working hard throughout to finish in 244^th place.

At the time of going to press the Woman’s team result was not declared by Midland Counties Athletics.
