TAMWORTH AC AT BURBAGE COMMON. ASSAULT COURSE OR CROSS COUNTRY COURSE?

With overnight snow making Burbage Common look more like Lapland than Leicestershire the latest cross country race for the WMYACCL was like an assault course rather than a cross country course.  Hat’s off to all the athletes on the day coping with freezing conditions snow and lots of deep icy mud!

The Tamworth AC athletes took it all in their stride with the Under 17 Women starting off the races. Rebecca Brayer giving her usual strong performance finishing in 9th place.
