A small team from Tamworth AC competed at the Staffs Cross Country Championships. The going was heavy for all the competitors with lots of mud on the undulating course at Sandwell Valley Country Park

Ben Edwards running in the Under 13 Boys class ran well to finish in 7th place in this 3k race with a time of 11:48mins

Representing Tamworth in the Under 15 Girls 4k race, Charlotte Bush came 4th  in a time of 16:47mins.  Eve Clawley came 5th in a time of 16:56mins and Hannah Brayer completed the team finishing in a strong 12th place in 17:39mins.

The Wolverhampton and Bilston girls took the team Gold but Bush, Clawley and Brayer with their strong placings won the Silver position.

Rebecca Brayer was the sole TAC runner in the Under 17 Women 6k race finishing in a strong 5th position in 26:57mins

Sarah Jemmett in the Veteran Women 6k race finished 11th with a time of 27:25mins and David Brayer running in the Veteran Men gruelling 10k  race finished 18th with a time of 43:38mins
