Athletes’ fabulous performance for TAC at Solihull YDL
Under 20s
Representing the Under 20 men, was James Rachel. He competed in the 200m, finishing 2nd with a time of 22.7s (a new PB). He also competed in the 400m finishing at 2ndwith an excellent time of 50.4s (another new PB).
There were two athletes for the Under 20 women, Hannah Evans and Isla Crameri. Isla competed in the pole vault, vaulting her way to 1st. She also competed in the long jump, landing in 2nd, with a distance of 4.26m. Hannah Evans competed in the shot, discus, javelin, hammer and relay with the Under 17 girls. In the shot she threw 5.80m coming 4th and, in the discus, she threw 23.18m landing 2nd. In javelin and hammer she threw 16.98m and 30.82m, coming 4thand 1st.

Under 17s
Representing the Under 17 men were Ben Godber, Will Fleming and Callum Hutchings. Ben competed in the discus, long jump and javelin. In the javelin, he threw 12.01m (a new PB), ending up in 4th; he jumped 4.03m (another new PB) landing in 2nd. His discus throw launched him into 3rdwith an excellent 12.27m (another new PB) in the A string. Will also competed in long jump A string jumping his way to 3rd with 5.07m. Will ran in both the 200m and 400m finishing with a time of 25.1s and 54.7s, coming 4th and 3rd respectively. Callum competed in the 100m coming 5th with a time of 13.7m and his 9.69m discus throw landed him in 1st for the B string.
For the Under 17 women, there were 3 athletes- Lottie McClaren, Abi Fullilove and Brooke Burton. Lottie ran the 300m coming 4th a time of 44.7s for the A string. She also ran an 2:26.7s 800m crossing the line 1st. She also competed in the 4x100m relay with Brooke, Hannah and Abi coming 3rd. Brooke ran a 14.41s 100m and a 29.5s 200m coming 4th both times. She triple-jumped her way to 1st with a PB of 8.93m. Abi ran a 200m a 30.9s (a new PB) coming 3rd and a 300m at 49.0s(another new PB) coming 3rd again.
