WMYACCL Cross Country 2018 Male Jesse Bradley
Jesse not only performed well for the U11’s in the league coming 5thoverall but also held his own at the youngest end of the U13’s at the Staffs and Midland Championships

WMYACCL Cross Country 2018 Female Jessica Salt
Jessica left onlookers speechless as the pocket dynamo flew round the cross country courses this season continually coming in the top 10. Jessica improved with each race and her commitment, attitude and maturity have been impeccable.

Senior men’s Cross Country Sylvain Letendart.
Sylvain achieved 8th place in the seniors cross country in one of the matches and tried his best to keep Tamworth from relegation.

Katherine turned up for nearly every cross country match to give her support
Graham Lovell Trophy Dale Langley
Dale put in a great performance at Burton on Trent finishing in 11th place in a very good time of 1hr 4mins.

Female Veteran of the Year Award Sarah Jemmett
Sarah was one of the 3 ladies competing in the league for the club taking part in the 400m, 800m, 1500m,and 3000m at Royal Sutton Coldfield in a time of 13mins 38secs
Male Veteran of the year Adam Young
Adam made regular appearances and for his consistency in being in the top three across a range of events including 200m, 400m, Hammer, High Jump, Long and triple jumps, Discus, shot and Pole Vault. Well done Adam.

With many of Tamworths young pole vaulters ranking high on the powerof10, it looks good for the future, but for the second year running the highest ranked U13/U15 is Ruby Coldwell ranked 5th outdoors and indoors

Junior Field Athlete 2019 Siân Hubbard
Siân finished1st in every Pole Vault event and is ranked 13th in the UK U15 2018. She came 1st in the Staffordshire Championships and the Schools Mason Trophy.

Beth had two 1st place and one 2nd place in the long jump getting her PB of 4.52m

Lottie was placed 1st in every 800m in YDL ranked 40TH in the UK In U13

Ridgewood Shield 2019 Ben Edwards
Ben competed in the 300m relay the 1500m, shot putt and discus at all events scoring very well for the team. He is ranked in the top 500 in the UK for 1500m

Amy Adams Shield Eve Clawley
There were only two YDL Upper meetings this season. Eve still U17 ran both U20 400m races winning both, her best time 59.1secs She also ran in bothU17 4 x 100m relays and won the 4 x 300m relay at the first meeting

Tom Adams Shield James Sherriff
Concentrating on the 400m for the first time he won the A race at the first meeting in 53.4secs and although a better time of 53.1secs at the second meeting he came second. James also won the B 200m threw the discus and ran in the U17 4 x 100m relay and then helped the U20 to 2nd and then 1st in the 4 x 400m relays

Male Sprinter of the year 2018 Jacob Spencer
This first year U17 represented the A team at all 4 meetings a great feat for such a young athlete. Warwickshire County Schools 100m and 200m champion Midland Counties Champion and runner up in the 400m. Many think that the 400m will be his event in the future. He got to the final of the 200m at the English Championships but was DQ for a false start. 4th overall in English Schools with a club record of 22.03secs in the 200m Ranked 8 in the UK at 200m looking to be number. 1 in 2019.

Female Sprinter of the Year Amy Bowen
Nobody ran faster at the 60m, 100m and 200m at Tamworth AC in 2018. She competed in the 100, 200 and the record breaking 4 x 100m relay for the Ladies A team. A new athlete to the club she competed in Midland County Championships, BUCS Championships and Inter Varsity meetings.
Field Athlete of the Year 2018 Alex Berrow
Staffs County Champion at Hammer and Shot Putt, Police Championship Gold in Hammer, Shot and Silver in Discus Represented the ‘A’ team and scored massive points for all his events. Easily Tamworth AC’s best hammer, shot and discus thrower

Indoor Athlete of the Year Female Amy Bowen
Fastest indoor 60m time of the year 7.73seconds, fastest
indoor 200m time of the year 25.67seconds. got through
to both 60 and 200m semi-finals in BIJCS champs and
was part of Cardiff Met Uni 4 x 200m silver medal
winning team. First year competing for Tamworth
Fastest Indoor Athlete of the Year Male Kane Densley
Fastest indoor 60mtrs of 6.90 seconds, only two
hundredths of a second off the club record. Qualifying for
British Champs 60mtrs. Fastest indoor 200mtr time. Got
through to BUCS semifinal in 60mtrs and was part of
Cardiff Met Uni 4 X 200mtr silver medal winning team. For
the 2nd year running
Dorothy Beech Award Female Isabelle Neville
The senior lady of the year was a very close fought battle
with 5 ladies in the run for the title. All of them have
competed in all 4 of the ‘A’ team meetings. But coming out
on top with 94 points from both track and field events is
Isabelle Neville.

Ray Rogers Trophy Male Adam Young
Competed in every ‘A’ team fixture. Scored 126 points for
the club in many different events such as 110 & 400
hurdles, pole vault, shot putt, discus, high jump, triple
jump. The 2018 backbone of the team and senior male
athlete is Adam Young.

Volunteer of the Year Matt Evans
This volunteer has helped the club enormously over the
last 12 months running his academy group and also
showing his skills in electrics were he has now updated
club lights inside and out giving up most of his Christmas
holidays so our athletes can run safely on the track thank
you Matt

Tamworth had 10 athletes at English Schools in 2018,
We feel they all need a mention. For the girls there was
isabelle Neville in the 400mtr hurdles, Eve Clawley in the
300mtrs, Niamh Kijgalten in the high jump, Sian Hubbard &
Isla Crameri in the pole vault, Lucy Wheeler in the 100mtrs
and Amy Cook in the Javelin. For the boys Tamworth had
Dan Cartwright and Jacob Spencer in the 200mtrs and
James Sheriff in the 400mtr. There were 2 athletes that
finished 4th in the final of their events, so sharing the
award this year are Isla Crameri and Jacob Spencer

Athlete of the Year Jacob Spencer
After completing a full fixture list for the senior A team, the
YDL league, County Champs, School County Champs,
Midlands Champs, Mason Trophy, English Schools Champs,
England Athletics Championships and performing well in all
competitions. Being ranked 8th in the UK for 200mtrs, the
Athlete of the year goes to Jacob Spencer. Siân

TAC Academy Best Performance 2019 Jacob Williams
Jacob is a perfect example of a club athlete and a credit to
the academy competing in all 3 Heart of England and all 3 YDL
taking part in the 100m 200m and tong jump in all 6
competitions . He is improving all the time he also ran 4
out of 5 cross countries.

TAC Academy most improved 2019 William Newman
William regularly attends the academy and shows the
improvement he has made by doing open meetings and
league competitions.
