Warwickshire County Championships at Nuneaton 12th May 2018

Amy Cook in the under 15 girl’s javelin won the gold medal with a throw of 31.04m, She came 3rd in the discus with a seasons best throw of 16.88m and in the shot she came 8th with a throw of 7.68m
Ruby Spencer in the under 15 girl’s javelin came 3rd with a throw of 23.87m

Luke Jones in the senior men’s competition was a double Gold Medal winner with a 1st in the 800m in a time of 1min 58.6secs and a 1st in the 1500m with a time of 4mins 2.8secs.

Isla Crameri won the Gold medal in the under 15 girls pole vault clearing a height of 2.60m setting a new championship record. In the heats of the under 15 girls 100m she just missed out on making it to the final with a personal best time of 14.15secs.

James Sherriff just missed out on the Gold Medal with a 2nd place position in the under 17 men’s 400m with a personal best time of 52.15secs

In the under 17 women’s 800m heats Sian Lewis won her place in the final with a time of 2mins 31.5secs and in the final she came 5th with a time of 2mins 30.6secs. She also ran in the under 17 women’s 300m finishing with a season’s best time of 45.17secs.

Olivia Woodward ran in the 200m senior women’s race and she finished 4th with a season’s best time of 26.8secs.

Laura Lewis running in the 3000m race clocked a season’s best time of 13mins 11.9secs and finished in 3rd place
