The weather at the annual Tipton Games meeting last Sunday was unkind to the athletes However, the Tamworth AC athletes that took part had a series of successful events on the track and in the field.
Under 17 Women
Hannah Evans scored a PB in the Discus with a throw of 21.57m
Hope Spooner had a PB in the 100m with a time of 14.81secs and in the 200m her time was 30.67secs
Under 15 Girls
Arantxa Middleton had a PB in the 100m with a time of 13.75secs. In the Long Jump she leapt 3.51m and in the 200m she finished in 28.97secs
Abigail Hamer had a PB in the 800m with a time of 2mins 34.09secs
Tegan Vickery ran the 1500m in 5mins 44.87secs
Ruby Spencer in the Javelin had a throw of 23.01m
Amy Cook in the Javelin threw the javelin 29.65m
Anya Brady had a PB in the 100m with a time of 14.14secs and in the 200m her time was 29.76secs
Bethany Ostick in the 100m had a time of 13.67secs and in the 200m she had time of 30.25secs
Under 20 Men
Andrew Woods ran the 400m in 56.48secs
Under 17 Men
Curtis Lawrence in the High Jump jumped 1.40m and in the 100m he finished in 12.69secs He also ran the 200m in 26.83secs
Jacob Spencer ran the 400m in 55.01secs
Under 13 Boys
Jacob Williams had PB’s in the 800m with a time of 3mins 09.77secs also in the 200m with a time of 34.66secs and a PB in the Long Jump leaping 3.75m
Toby Wooton scored a PB in the Long Jump with a jump of 3.63m and he had a time of 2mins 39.58secs in the 800m
