Midland Counties U13 / U15 / U17 Championships at the Pingles Stadium Nuneaton on 19-20 August 2017

Here we have the results of the Tamworth AC athletes who competed in the Midland Counties Championships last weekend.


Owen Sherriff took the Silver medal in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 57.62secs

Jacob Spencer in the 100m heats took 1st with a PB time of 11.53secs and in the final he took Gold beating his PB time finishing in 11.45secs.  In his 200m heat Jacob came 1st with a PB time of 23.59secs and in the final he beat his PB time finishing with the Silver medal with a PB of 23.50secs.  In his 300m heat Jacob made 2nd place with a time of 39.51secs and he came 4th in the final with a PB time of 38.37secs

Lucy Wheeler in her 100m heat came 3rd with a new PB of 12.57secs and in the final she was 5th with a time of 12.64secs

Emily Findlater ran in the 300m Hurdles finishing her heat in 4th place with a time of 43.83secs but missed out running in the final by one place.

In the Pole vault Siân Hubbard with a jump of 2.30m took Silver and Isla Crameri took Bronze with a jump of 2.20m

In the 100m heats Niamh Kilgallen came 4th in her heat with a PB time of 14.06secs just missing out on progressing to the final.  Niamh also ran in the 75m Hurdles finishing 4th in her heat with a time of 12.66secs and she came 6th in the final with a time of 12.72secs Niamh went on to compete in the High Jump and finished in 9th place with a jump of 1.4m

Sian Lewis in her 800m heat came 5th with a time of 2mins 33.01secs missing out on running in the final.

In the Shot Putt Alice Jones came 5th with a throw of 8.69m and in the Hammer Alice won the Silver Medal with a PB throw of 32.31m
