The Potters ‘Arf

Ben Evans celebrated ten years of road running, with a return to the Potters ‘Arf, where he made his half marathon debut a decade ago.

The Tamworth AC long-distance athlete, unsurprisingly made a huge improvement on his 2007 performance of 1:44:37, crossing the line this year in 5th place with a time of 1:18:33.

Ben said “I love this race, it’s a brutally challenging course that either brings out the best in you or breaks you; and I’ve experienced both over the years!”

“I’m delighted with everything about my run today. I felt comfortable throughout the race and put in a strong finish to make the top 5.”

“I’m really enjoying the mix of track and road fixtures at the moment whilst I think ahead to the Berlin Marathon in September.”
