The Senior Men’s Team

Daniel James 100m A came 5th with a SB time of 12.4secs. James also ran in the 200m A race finishing 4th in 25.0 secs

Christian Bruss in the 100m SM B was 5th with a SB of 13.3secs. Running in the 200m B race Bruss came 3rd with a SB time of 27.0secs. He also competed in the SM B Hammer Throe coming 4th with a SB throw of 12.59m

Andrew Woods in the 400m SM A race was 4th in 56.9secs. Woods ran in the 800m SM A race coming 3rd in 2mins 11.9.

Nathan Moore ran in in the 400m B race and was 3rd with a time of 59.1secs. Moore in the Long Jump A came 6th with a PB jump of 4.95m

Adam Smyth in the 800m B race was 2nd with a time of 2mins 14.4. Smyth jumped a SB jump of 4.48m in the B long jump finishing in 5th place. He also had a PB in the A Triple Jump finishing 3rd with a jump of 11.32m

James Oakley in the 1500 A race came 4th with a SB time of 4mins 51.3. Oakley came an excellent 2nd in the 2000m A steeplechase with a PB of 7mins 08.2

In the 5000m Sen A race Ben Evans gained a PB of 16mins 50.7 coming 4th

Veteran Derek Bolton in the 5000m B race had a SB of 20mins 28 earning valuable points in 6th place.

Richard Johnson finished 4th and gained a PB with a putt of 8.03m in the Shot Putt A. Johnson in the Discus A came 4th with a throw of 22.58m. Johnson also took part in the Hammer Throw A coming 4th with a PB throw of 19.73m

Stephen Hollis in the Shot Putt B came 4th with a PB of 7.03m and in the Discus B Hollis was 4th with a throw of 17.59m

Paul Tasker in the Javelin A came 5th with a SB throw of 31.33m

In the 4x100m relay the Tamworth Team of Christian Bruss, Daniel James Andrew Woods and Nathan Moore took 3rd in 50.9secs

In the 4 x 400 m relay the Tamworth team of Andrew Woods, Paul Tasker, Nathan Moore and Adam Smyth were 2nd with a time of 3mins 59.1

 

The Senior Women’s Team

Alice Mellor in the 100m A race and she was 3rd with a SB time of 13.5secs. She also ran in the Sen 200m A race coming 1st with a SB of 28.0secs

Rachel West in the 100m B race coming 1st with a time of 14.0secs. West also jumped in the  A event clearing 1.30m in 3rd place.

Charlotte Cornbill ran in the 800m A race and earned valuable points in 5th positon with a SB time of 2mins 52.8.  Cornbill came 4th in the 1500m A race with a time of 6mins 38.4. In the Shot Putt B Cornbill finished 7th with a putt of 4.00m

Caroline West came 3rd and had a PB time of 14mins 27.9 in the 3000m A race

Carmen Hollis in the A Shot Putt had a SB of 5.73 finishing in 6th place and in the Discus A she came 2nd with a throw of 17.95m. She also competed in the Hammer Throw A and finished 5th with a PB throw of 19.88m. In the Javelin A Hollis came 7th with a SB throw of 11.01m

In the 4x100m relay Tamworth team of Rachel West, Caroline West, Charlotte Cornbill and Alice Mellor came 2nd in 63.3secs

In the 4 x 400m relay the same Tamworth SW team came 1st in 5mins 03.6
