Tamworth AC’s Ben Evans was in action again at the Stafford Half Marathon over the weekend. Battling against strong winds, he put in a solid performance to finish in 12th place with a time of 1:16:33. After the race Ben said “I’ve been pushing myself pretty hard in training lately and I’m really happy with my running at the moment. I felt strong from start to finish today and paced my race well”
Ben now turns his attention to the London Marathon on 23rd April.
While dad was out on the Half Marathon course, eight-year-old daughter and Academy youngster Lottie Evans (pictured with little sister Isabelle) took on the one mile ‘Heroes and Heroines’ Fun Run to top a great day for the family.
