The Tamworth AC Under 13 Javelin girls see off the opposition

Under 11 Boys
Tom Reid came 6th in the Howler A with a throw of 22.64m. In the long jump A Tom was 4th with a jump of 3.49m, he also ran in the 75m B and came 3rd in 11.7secs
Ashley Johnson was 4th in the Howler B with a throw of 20.35m and in the Long Jump B Asley came 2nd with a jump of 3.29m. In the 600m B he came 6th with a time of 2:13.3mins
Luca Bradley ran ibn the 600m A finishing 5th with a time of 2:00.2mins. Luca also ran in the 75m A finishing 7th in 11.8secs

Under 11 Girls
Madison Rose was 7th in the Howler A with a throw of 7.88m. In the 600m B Madison was an excellent 2nd in a time of 2:16.0. She also ran in the 75m B coming an excellent 2nd in 12.1secs.
Daisy Smith in the Howler B came 5th with a throw of 7.51m. Daisy came 3rd in the 600m A with a time of 2:10.1mins and in the Long Jump B Daisy was 3rd with a jump of 2.9m
Saiorse Au came an excellent 2nd in the Long Jump A jumping 3.7m and in the 75m she came 3rd in a time of 11.4secs

In the Under 11 4 x 100 mixed relays the team of Daisy Smith, Tom Reid, Madison Rose and Saiorse Au did themselves proud finishing 3rd with a time of 63.9secs
Under 13 Boys
In the High Jump A Daniel Aston jumped 1.15m to come 6th and in the Shot Putt B he came 3rd with a putt of 4.25m Daniel also ran in the 1500m B race finishing 3rd in 5:51.6mins
Caydon Fairburn ran in the 800m finishing in a time of 3:01.9mins. In the Shot Putt A he came 7th with a putt of 4.67m and in the Long Jump B he came 5th with a jump of 3.13m
In the 800m B Harry Chesterton took 3rd place with a time of 2:48.3mins and in the 200m B race he came 7th in 31.4secs.
James Stretton in the Javelin A came 3rd with a throw of 20.52m. In the Long Jump A James was 7th with a jump of 3.65m. He also ran in the 1500m A race finishing 3rd with a time of 5:19.1mins

Oran Au ran in the 100m A race to come 4th in 14secs, he also ran in the 200m A race finishing in 29.5secs
Daniel Pearson in the 100m B race came 6th in 15.1secs
In the 4×100 relay the Tamworth Under 13 boys team of Oran Au, Caydon Fairburn, Daniel Aston and James Stretton came 6th in 62.6secs
Under 13 Girls
Tegan Vickery ran in the 1500m A race finishing 3rd in 6:01.5mins and in the Shot Putt B she had a putt of 2.84m to finish 7th
Emily Pearce came 3rd in the 1500m B race with a time of 6:08.9mins
In the 800m A race Alice Mason finished 5th in a time of 2:53.4mins and in the Shot Putt A she had a putt of 4.81m to finish 7th.
Ellie Gauntlett running in the 800m B race came 3rd in 2:54.8mins she also ran in the 100m B race with a time of 17.2secs
Sian Hubbard in the High Jump came 4th with a jump of 1.20m and in the Long Jump B she finished 4th with a jump of 3.38m
Amy Cook demonstrated her strength in the Javelin A throwing a personal best of 24.9m, which at the time of writing puts her in the top 30 in the country. Amy also ran in the 100m A race finishing in 15.3secs and in the Long Jump A she came 4th with a jump of 3.74m
In the 200m A Beth Winstone finished 6th with a time of 32.1secs
Georgina Weal in the 200m B race finished 5th in 33.4secs she also ran in the 800m NS finishing in 2:59.6mins
Javelin specialist Ruby Spencer won a well-deserved 1st place in the Javelin B event with a throw of 19.97m
The 4×100 Girls Under 13 relay team of Alice Mason, Beth Winstone, Emily Pearce and Sian Hubbard were just beaten in 4th place with a time of 61.9secs
Under 15 Boys
In the 800m race James Walker came 4th with a time of 2:35.5mins and in the Shot Putt he took 7th place with a putt of 5.79m. He also ran in the 200m A race coming 7th with a time of 29.4secs
James Sherriff came 4th in the Javelin with a throw of 19.18m and in the 100m A race he came 4tyh in a time of 13secs. In the 1500m B race James took a well-deserved 1st place in 4:53.4mins
Max Kent in the 100m B race came 4th in a time of 13.6secs and in the 300m A race he took 3rd place with a time of 43.9secs. In the 1500m Max finished an excellent 2nd place with a time of 4:46.8mins
Dan Cartwright came a convincing 1st place in the 300m B race with a time of 41.5secs and in the 200m B race he finished 1st in a blistering 24.0secs.
Under 15 Girls
Charlotte Perry ran in the 1500m A race finishing 6th with a time of 5:43.7mins, in the Long Jump she had a jump of 2.25m
In the High Jump Lauren Swindell came 4th with a jump of 1.25m and in the Javelin she came 6th with a throw of 18.39m. Lauren finished 6th in the 200m B race with a time of 30.7secs
Sian Lewis came a good 2nd in the 800m A race with a time of 2:35.9mins and in the 300m A race she finished 6th in 46.2secs
In the 800m B race Katie Stretton came a good 2nd with a time of 2:45.6mins and in the 100m B race she finished in 15.1secs

Hannah Evans ran the 100m A race in 14.7secs and in the 200m A race she finished in 31.1secs
Sophie Perry came 5th in the 300m B race with a time of 52.3secs and in the Shot Putt B event she finished 6th with a putt of 4.42m. She also ran in the 800m NS finishing with a time of 2:56.7mins
Alice Jones in the Javelin B event came 5th with a throw of 12.02m. In the Shot Putt A Alice came 2nd with a putt of 9.35m
The 4×100 relay team of Sian Lewis, Hannah Evans, Katie Stretton and Charlotte Perry finished in a time of 60.2secs
Under 17 Women
Charlotte Bush came an excellent 2nd in the 1500m A race with a time of 5:14.9mins. Charlotte stole 1st place in the 800m A race with a brilliantly timed run for the line. Her time was 2:35.3mins

In the 1500m B race Laura Lewis came 2nd in a time of 6:10.6mins, she also ran in the 300m finishing 5th in 50.3secs
Izzy Spencer came 3rd in the Javelin A event throwing 23.30m and in the Shot Putt Izzy was 5th with a putt of 5.63m
In the 80m Hurdles A Emily Findlater came 4th in a time of 14.5secs. In the 300m Emily came an excellent 2nd with a time of 44.0secs. She finished in 6th place in the Long Jump with a jump of 3.66m
In the 80m Hurdles B Bethany Devonshire took 1st place with a run of 14.6secs and she took 5th place in the 100m race with a time of 13.6secs. In the High Jump Beth finished 3rd with a jump of 1.25m
With this being the last event of the Heart of England League the Tamworth AC team started in a difficult position at the bottom of the table and in spite of the best efforts of all the athletes the opposition proved to be too strong. The last YDL match next week will give the athletes another chance.
